Each pet, or family of pets, is given their own super spacious room that comes equipped with clean, comfortable raised beds, and climate control. To give them the same vibe as home does, we provide amenities such as a TV and vibrant murals.
Diet is an incredibly important part, so we make sure to give all the pets Royal Canin pet food. We are fully equipped to handle individual medications and special dietary needs. Our trained and dedicated staff keep a close eye on each pet’s food and water intake and are ready to provide immediate care if needed. With 24/7 CCTV surveillance and access to local veterinarians, we guarantee a safe and secure environment for your furry friends at all times.
Connecting families
We understand that there is nothing worse than being separated from your pet, especially for 10 days. So, we have taken some measures to make sure that we do everything we can to make this easy on both the pets and their owners.
Our staff is available during office hours to take your calls if you want to check in on how your pet is doing. We try our best to answer any phone calls and messages that are sent after our hours as quickly as we can.
We also make sure to regularly update our Facebook page with photos of your pet during their stay with Auckland Quarantine!
OUR GUESTS ARE VIP’S
All of our guests are Very Important Pets! As such, they are treated with the utmost love and respect while they stay with us. We ensure that their stay is as stress-free as possible and that they are not overwhelmed by it. We do this by having plenty of one-on-one interaction between our staff and pets. We also make sure to keep all pet families together so that they have some familiarity.
Speaking of making sure that your pet is comfy with their temporary home, we also encourage you to send in a duplicate of a favourite toy or blanket to have in their room. We ask that the duplicate arrives with tags and/or the original packaging still attached. However, these items will be destroyed at the beginning of your pet’s stay.
This Is Their Home Away From Home
From our experience, we have found that a lot of our guests like to unwind in front of their TVs, especially the dogs. Our vets have recommended turning on the TV when pets are left alone, as this will take care of three important things – your pets will be stimulated, entertained, and relaxed. This will all contribute to a happy pet when you come to pick them up at the end of their stay.
